Sunflowers at sunset…

With daylight savings, our afternoons are seeming to end so much quicker.

Kate is also rising with the sun and is often up before Nicki these days.

It was a cool and crisp day — very autumn-like.

I love the light at this time of year, it has a spectacular quality.

This image is kind of a surreal look at the bouquet of sunflowers on the dining room table, struck by strong sidelight.
