Day Two hundred seventy-four

Berkley & Bob’s Rehearsal….

This evening at Cancer Survivor’s Memorial within Millennium Park, Berkley and Bob held their wedding rehearsal.

Tomorrow they’ll do it for real, though the weather is threatening rain (though it’s been amazing light this afternoon and evening).

Hoping that the good weather that we’ve had in the midwest all week will extend for just one more day.

It’s been great being back in the city for the wedding.

Even though I left Chicago 25 years ago (yikes!) it still feels familiar — although at times I feel a bit like Austin Powers upon waking from his slumber.  Parts of the city are eerily familiar, but then other parts of the city (like Michigan Avenue, north of the river) remind me so much of Park Avenue in New York.

But what a great city for their wedding — history, energy and passion.
