Day Ninety-one:

And when we left, there were tears.

It’s hard to believe that the month had already passed.  Time flew so quickly and it was one of the most amazing trips we have ever taken.  It did take over 2 weeks to kind of decompress from the pace in the States and get into the rhythm of S. Africa.  It was worth it especially because Nicki got to be with her family and spend some real quality time with her friends, and also it was great for Kate to spend a lot of time with her cousins (two sleepovers with them while here).  It was great for me because it got me out of my usual routine and seeing things I normally would see.  And it was great for me, too, to see Tony and Moira, the relatives, the friends and to visit S. Africa.  There is something about that place that does get into your blood.

It was especially hard on Moira when we left as I looked out through the car window as we started down the drive.
